I didn’t become a CPA because I dreamed of doing tax returns. I became a CPA because I grew up around a small business and saw firsthand how much business owners have to figure out on their own. There was plenty of hard work and plenty of decisions, but not always someone there to provide guidance—to explain the numbers, help plan ahead, or simply be a resource when questions came up. That experience stayed with me and ultimately shaped the kind of accountant I wanted to become. Before starting Latitude Tax Advisors, I worked at a tax firm preparing tax returns and providing bookkeeping services for individuals and businesses. I loved the technical side of the work, but I kept seeing the same need: small-business owners needed more than someone to prepare their tax return. They needed someone in their corner.

That’s why I started Latitude.

I wanted to build an accounting firm where small-business owners could get proactive tax planning, accounting, and guidance throughout the year—not just during tax season. I want our clients to feel comfortable calling us before they make a big decision, whether they're considering an S-corp election, hiring an employee, making a major purchase, or simply trying to understand what their numbers are telling them. I earned my Master's in Accounting from Regis University and am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). But some of the most important lessons I've learned have come from working alongside business owners and watching their businesses evolve. And that's my favorite part of this work. I love watching a client's business grow, whether that means hiring their first employee, reaching a major milestone, or building something they once only dreamed about. I also love watching their lives grow alongside their businesses—seeing families expand, priorities change, and new goals take shape.

Because ultimately, the business isn't the whole story. It's part of the life you're building.

That's what I want Latitude to help with: not just getting the numbers right, but helping business owners understand them, plan ahead, and make decisions that support both their business and the life they want to build. I'm proud to call Colorado Springs home and even prouder to work with the small-business owners who make this community such a great place to live and work.

As Office Manager at Latitude Tax Advisors, I keep our day-to-day running smoothly for our clients and team. I’m also an Investment Adviser Representative, holding my Series 65 license and providing investment services through Advisors Investment Management. This is one more way we bring everything into one place for our clients. I work with both business owners and individuals, helping them get on the right track and reach their financial goals alongside their tax, bookkeeping, and payroll needs. I’m currently studying for my Enrolled Agent (EA) license to deepen my tax expertise and serve our clients even better.

I was born in Oklahoma City, OK, and grew up in Albuquerque, NM. I earned my BA at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, where I also played on the golf team. Before joining Latitude, I worked with investments at T. Rowe Price and then at Kinder Morgan, where I was a Data Analyst. Investments and numbers in general have always been my passion, and I love the work because it lets me keep learning and meet new people.

When I’m not at the office, I enjoy relaxing with my wife, hanging out with friends, and getting out on the golf course.

My position at Latitude Tax Advisors is a Sr Staff Accountant. I received my Bachelors degree in Business Administration at the University of Northern Colorado. I am a Colorado Native; born and raised in a small town in the south eastern part of the state.

When I am not in the office I enjoy working out and spending time with my family.

I am a Sr Staff Accountant here at Latitude Tax Advisors. I have lived in Colorado my whole life with no intention of ever leaving. After high school, I moved from a small town in the southeastern corner to Greeley where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in business administration from the University of Northern Colorado.

When I am not at work, I love to spend quality time with my son and family.

I have been a receptionist since November of 2020 and enjoy all aspects of my job. My duties include answering phones, greeting clients and I also assemble the tax returns in the final stage after the final review of the tax return has been completed. I also enjoy seeing and getting to know all of the clients during the tax season as well as off season.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and taking care of my grand babies as well as spending time outside doing different physical activities.
